Early Ancestors / Descendants of the Harvey / Caisley Families
The research into our great grandparents their ancestors and descendants is presented in the form of condensed family trees together with (where possible) supporting notes / comments as well as photographs when available. In some cases research has been made and includes details of siblings and their individual history. In some cases researching children of our early ancestors reveals more details of their parents,
Information has been obtained from various sources - Ancestry.com / Ancestry.co.uk and other free web sites such as Free Family Search provided by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, FreeBMD index, FreeCensus and Free Parish Records. Where appropriate we have drawn on and received support and information from various Parish or Church Councils, Family History Societies and these organisations or individuals have been acknowledged accordingly. A lot of information has been obtained from early census reports and military records . Because the quality and legibility of some of these early reports / records (particularly the 1841 census) after digitization is questionable some conclusions have been made. As a result the author acknowledges this could well be a source of error and results / information must therefore be treated with caution. However, where possible results have been cross checked in an attempt to minimize errors / mistakes.

Samuel and Mary Ann Uncles were the maternal GtGt Grandparents of David Harvey..

The Mayne Knott Family
William John Mayne Knott and Kate Smith were the maternal Gt Grandparents of David Harvey.
The Nicholls Family
John and Ann Nicholls were the GtGt grandparents of David Harvey on my fathers side of the Harvey Family, John Nicholls was born in Coleshill, Warwickshire (Baptised in 1811). Ann Nicholls (formerly Pettifer) was born in Packington, Warwickshire (Baptised in 1821). He was killed near Hampton - in - Arden Railway Station, Warwickshire in in 1882 aged 71 yrs. During his working life he worked as a railway track platelayer. Given the work that John Nicholls did it would be reasonable to assume that he was killed during his work which would have been an awful end to his life.
Ann Nicholls died 7th March 1892 aged 72 yrs, Both are buried in St Peters Churchyard, Bickenhill, Warwickshire in plot C-109.

The Caisley Family
Jeremiah and Annetta Caisley were the paternal GtGtGrandparents of Christine Caisley. They are buried together with other family members in Tweedmouth, Cemetery, Tweedmouth, Northumberland, England. An image of the grave head stone and inscription is shown in the Gallery of Family Photographs on the page "Other photographs that support and are related to our family History"

Henry and Annie Freeman were the maternal Gt Grandparents of Christine Sophia Caisley.
